Duo's self-enrollment process makes it easy to register your phone or tablet and activate the Duo Mobile application, so you can receive Duo requests via push notification and tap to approve and login. In other words it uses Two-factor authentication for secure logins. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is the simplest, most effective way to make sure users really are who they say they are.

DT uses Duo, which is a third party authentication, for the secure logins of the clinicians. The clinician will have the Duo App installed in their mobile phones where they will receive a push notification on their phones on Duo app to approve or deny the request. Following which if the user approves they will successfully be able to login to their DT accounts and if they click Deny their accounts on DT will be secure and from the web will not be able to navigate to their dashboard.
